She could never land a guy like him.
He blew his first chance to convince her otherwise. When fate intervenes a second time, will they find true love?
College
senior Amelia Preston is desperate to graduate and launch her career.
When her best friend arranges an inconvenient lab-partner swap, Amelia
is mortified. Now she’s stuck working with Jonathan Fontaine for the
entire semester. He’s an expert at ignoring her, far too sexy of a
distraction, and her absolute last choice for a colleague.
Grad
student Jonathan Fontaine has one unwavering mantra. He never pursues a
taken woman. Never, ever. When he’s paired with the most intriguing
woman he’s ever met, Jonathan jumps at the opportunity to work with
Amelia again. Knowing Amelia is about to graduate, he fears this is his
last chance with her before she disappears from his life forever.
Torn
by feelings toward her unexpectedly kind but undeniably hot
lab-partner, Amelia struggles with the desire to be loyal to her
increasingly unreliable boyfriend. Just as he’s beginning to win
Amelia’s affection, Jonathan is devastated when he encounters the man
standing between him and the woman he wants.
He’s never questioned his “Off Limits” mantra, until now. Until her.
“She’s
Off Limits” is the sizzling standalone prequel-novella in the “Fontaine
Family” contemporary romance series. If you like heart-felt moments,
strong heroes, and destined couples, then you’ll love Erica Devon’s
passionate new story.
REVIEW NOTES:
AMELIA has the first chapter starting out. The it switched in the next chapter to Jonathan's P.O.V. I found that I liked that a lot. Even his friend Drew, got to say some things in a text that I really liked how it was highlighted in the book..Amelia's friend, was a delight in the story with her spunky sass and her unique caring ways.
I enjoyed the friendships like that between Drew & Jonathan and Amelia and Audra. Unique relations with families, some were strained and some were close.
Amelia's douche of a boyfriend, Brett needs to go sooner than later.
I liked how the story ended and earned a solid 4 STARS for my review
