MY REVIEW- STUNNING, QUICK, GREAT STORY
I ABSOLUTELY LOVED tough little Briana Song. What she had in fierce talent and brains made up for her size, often surprising attackers and finally her co-workers. Her co-workers weren't overly impressed with her in the beginning, especially her new partner. James Buckley was a stickler for the rules which often ticked me off when he bossed her around like a newbie. He didn't even give her a chance to use her skills and smarts in the beginning and for a very LOOOONG time. Made me want to swear at him. As you can, see I got VERY involved in this story. More than once I wanted to tell Buckley, retire already !!! There were a couple other people who impressed me a lot mainly other smart women in the story, like the M.E and a fellow woman agent. It didn't stop me from continuing to read the story. Briana is the one that had my focused attention. In fact, I read the book in one day, keeping at it until I was able to finish it. I also liked that there were no gruesome murder scenes.
Now, I want another story in the series because it was just that good. No lie !
