I liked this story although I wouldn't say it was a favorite of mine.  Both of the main characters were unusual in their differences.  Christopher the rigidly rule follower and Gloria with the huge imagination.   Christopher is a very knowledgeable man when it comes to the science of the stars.  And he's not too sure that Gloria knows anything at all about that when he first meets her on her Skywalk tour. Gloria brings fun into that tour without much regard to the true facts and Christopher is incensed!   Of, course there really is more to the story than just that as we will all find out later, Christopher included. 
Christopher is an adventurer and Gloria is afraid of just about everything.  Water being at the top of that list, which makes any kind of adventure pretty much out of the picture. Other than her books and imagination about other places. She also had some other surprising skills though.
There is a H.E.A. for Christopher and Gloria along with two follow ups of sorts.  It was unusual but I liked it.  It included, "the following year" and the Epilogue of two years later. 
I do have one question though.   Whatever happened to Madge, her maid/friend/ almost like a sister woman?
