BOOK REVIEW- 10 CURSES THAT BLOCK THE BLESSING

Have you been suffering with depression, family dysfunction,
marital unhappiness, or other problems and been unable to overcome them?
Within the pages of this groundbreaking book,
Ten Curses That Block the Blessing, Larry Huch shares
his personal experience with a life of anger, drug addiction,
crime, and violence. He shows how he broke these curses and reveals
how you can recognize the signs of a curse, be set free
from generational curses, and restore your health and wealth.
You don't have to struggle any longer.
Choose to revolutionize your life.
You can reverse the curses that block your blessings!

My thoughts on the book:
These two really good points were in the just the Preface:
  • God had heard Daniel's prayer (Daniel 10:12-13) and was ready to answer , but a spirit was blocking that blessing from coming in.  The enemy may be blocking the blessing that Jesus has already paid for.
  • Larry brings up a good point that we are missing so many of God's truths because we are looking at the Bible from an Athens perspective instead of a view from Jerusalem.
I liked this book, with not only the information I gleaned from it but also the use of scripture and the prayers that were offered throughout the book.  I think I will be ordering another copy of this book.
  • The Chapter called "The High Cost of Anger" was really enlightening as well.  I like the information that Larry shared  about how the rabbis teach if we cause someone public embarrassment or humiliation, the blood rushes to their face (blushing).  In Hebrew teaching, this is a spiritual side of "shedding innocent blood", and is a great sin and can bring a great curse.
  • I began to get a whole new revelation concerning the sweat of our brow being how we would toll UNTIL,  Jesus wore the Crown of Thorns on his brow at the Crucifixion.  The thorn bush and the sweat of his brow were signs of poverty to Adam.    That curse was broken over me and you when they pierced Jesus brow and His blood poured over and broke that curse.
  • In Africa . rain is a sign of God's favor, of His blessing.  As it is in Israel.
  • Who has spoken failure over you?
I could go on with other insights but will leave this review right at this point.
