BOOK REVIEW: MIRACLE OF HOPE

A story of an arranged marriage in an Amish setting.  An arranged marriage but so much more.  Lindie Wyne, and Josiah Plank each carry their own separate pain and secrets as does his 8 year old deaf daughter, Hannah.  It begins with the promise of a father for Lindie's unborn baby and a mother for Hannah.  Fireworks to follow..

What a charming, at times intense, interesting story.  I really, really liked all the main characters in this book.  There were layers of secrets for all of them; that kept me interested and involved in the stories throughout.  The emotions were so well written that you often felt what the characters were experiencing.  Not the usual run of the mill Amish story either; it had twists and turns and surprises.
The author wasn't afraid to make God noticeable in this book, so skillfully done.  She made it such an essential, every day  part of their life without the preachy flavor as some sometimes do.
