 3.5 STARS

This story started slow to my way of thinking and it took me quite a while to even get very interested in it.

This story had it's good moments but others that just didn't draw me in as much. Things do get more interesting through as I got further into the book.  Both Selena and Marley are both pretty different kind of people.  With both of them having MANY misunderstandings. I did enjoy some of the tender moments on Marley's account.

The people surrounding them were interesting as family and friends. Selena had a surprising number of men in the background who were almost invisible to her as wannabe lovers.  Well, they were invisible until they started causing trouble.

The story ends with well earned H.E.A. There is also a good look into Book # 8 "Wounds of A Viscount."  I'm glad that I read this book because it set a good foundation of information (and emotion) so that it's easier to read that next book.  It really does look interesting.

I read this book through the HOOPLA Library site.
