 5 STARS

This story is quirky and also filled with quirky people.

Hunter is a Nice Guy which why he is often finds himself in the Friend Zone when it comes to women.  But when he got Turned he also developed some other strengths as well.  I loved, loved, loved him and the way he cared for those around him. Even when he turns out snarly from being new at this vampire thing.  I really liked how the relationship between Hunter and Alice developed.

Alice..now there is another awesome person in the story. She's been through so much and more is coming.  But she is also developing got your back friends.   Something that she never had before.  And what friends they were, not really what you would call "normal but great just the same.  This story was TOTALLY unpredictable which was such a great adventure. Speaking of adventure there had to be time that Alice felt like she fell through the rabbit hole like Alice in Wonderland.

While I am NOT a fan of talking to and interacting with ghosts, there was plenty more to the story than just that. This story had plenty of action and another supernatural character that made me smile was "Charlie".  There was more humor in the story than just with Charlie, plenty of emotions and a really good ending. I cheered for the outcome.  But you need to know that the door is left open for more adventures because there is still one bad guy out there.
