This book didn't have good world building...it was spectacular! The whole thing turned out to be a really good SciFi story. It also had good emotional struggles as well.
The awkwardness between CabeX and Savlf was interesting to watch as they tried to navigate the newness of human feelings and attraction to each other. It was kind of amusing to see them trying to figure out these unfamiliar emotions. Just getting used to their human bodies was quite the adjustment. Of course all of Savlif's lost memories were a big hurdle for her too.
Surprise after surprise kept showing up, unpredictable but good. Towards the end, the surprises were even better until everything comes to a satisfying H.E.A.
