**Book Review- Plain Jane and Mr. Wright (Plain Jane Series # 6) by Tmonique Stephens

GOOD GIRLS DON’T HAVE ONE-NIGHT STANDS!

Jane Playne is a good girl. She has done everything right her entire life… until Nicholas Wright steals her away. He’s a bad boy. A killer. Yet he saved her, protected her, and turned her inside out.
Nicholas Wright has one mission; keep those he loves safe. The only way he can do that with Jane is to keep her close even though that places in her danger. He should send her away, yet can’t. She calms him, keeps him sane, and each night in between her thighs is a night spent in heaven.
Jane’s one-night stand has turned into nights of passion in the arms of a man she shouldn’t want. Now Jane is a good girl gone bad. She’s a woman on a mission to get what she wants. And what she wants, needs, is every glance, touch, and taste of Mr. Wright.
Nicholas has no idea how good of a bad girl Jane can be. He’ll soon learn what Jane wants, Jane gets.  AMAZON LINK

What a wild ride this story this was with me liking some parts better than others. There were plenty of strong characters in the story with Jane seeming to be a weaker one; always someone who didn't like confrontation.  But things are about to turn her every which way without letting her loose.   It was good to see her develop her backbone although it did take a while and some unusual circumstances.  Nicholas was quite the wild card and I enjoyed his point of view as much as Jane's.

The story was well written with strong family elements.  Family both by blood and from a grown kinship.  There is plenty of danger, betrayals and the unpredictable action coming from so many directions. There is also a LOT of detailed sexual times between the main characters.  I probably would have enjoyed a bit less of that. But at least there was a story in there that kept the suspense sharp.

It has a good ending for now with a happy Epilogue.  But still knowing not all the dangers have been contained. Or in other words killed. But it's a start.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from Booksprout. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
