BOOK REVIEW- HIS DEFIANT PRINCESS by Kathleen O'Brien

His Defiant Princess (Royal Holiday Book 3) by [O'Brien, Kathleen]
Brenna Tinley has decided to move to the Unified Isles of Cornetta, a fairy-tale kingdom just south of France in the Bay of Biscay to escape the recent tragedies in her personal life. The happiest summer she can remember was spent there, in the arms of a handsome, tender rascal who disappeared without a goodbye when Autumn came…

As fate would have it, the Royal House of Vicenza has engaged Brenna Tinley to clear up a public relations mess. It’s the opportunity of a lifetime for this small-town American girl, but there’s only one problem. Her new employer, HRH Prince Ronan, aka her mystery summer lover of long ago, seems determined to pick up where they left off. Can Brenna work in the royal palace and not end up with a brand new broken heart?   AMAZON  4 STARS

This was a quick, enjoyable story with good main characters.  Brenna being called into do her job as a manger of PR, was a good plot idea.  Her co-partner in the business Willow is one fiery, smart best friend as well.  They might be different in styles and personalities but they balanced each other in business.  And they were there as much as possible for each other in the personal sides of their lives too.

Ronan was the fun, rogue prince.  But that doesn't mean he is without pain or disappointments.  He also has depths to him that very feel people have seen.  Brenna is one that has seen some of them before he disappeared out of her life.  That one brilliant, free summer nine years ago.

I did enjoy the challenges that the people in the story faced.  It wasn't a really deep book but that didn't take away from the charm of it.

On a side note, I thought the eBook cover was really attractive too.
