BOOK REVIEW- LEANNA

Leanna Murray had her mind set against the man her laird chose for her to marry, and no amount of persuasion was going to convince her otherwise. His intentions were well-meaning, but he had pledged her to the wrong man.  AMAZON LINK
Marti Talbott's books are suitable for ages 14 and up.

Short, sweet and with a moral (to the story) or two thrown in as well.  It was a clean story as promised. I really liked spunky Leanna as well, even when she had to hide some of that spunk, you could still see her unhappiness.   It gave a good look into a woman's life that wasn't really her own, when it came to choosing who she will marry.  And the not so perfect life, that many people of her time and place had to endure.  They did what they had to to survive and find joy where they could.  The love of family came through as well.  A lot of story packed into a very short amount of pages.  I applaud the author, a job well done.
