The midrash notes the morphological similarity
between the word 'devarim' (words) and devorim (bees).
The words of Torah can give joy and sweetness
to those who heed them (Psalm 19:10),
but they are a deadly poison to those who do not.
"Just as the honey of the bee is sweet
and its sting sharp,
so, too is the Torah".
Likewise, our words
can be used to build up, edify & comfort others
or they can be used to tear down, deliver poison, & cause pain.
