5 STARS MY REVIEW- Titled: It was delightful and funny !
Wells, is one VERY cranky, grouchy golf pro. Josephine or as
her parents call her Joey, is the over-the-top fangirl who often shows
up with her best friend Tallulah. But Tallulah is currently in the
Antarctic studying the oceanic creatures with a scientific team. That
was her dream. Tallulah has her own story in another book by Tessa
Bailey that has to do with her being a nanny to a hockey player that
they call Sir Savage. It looks so good that I'm currently reading that
now.
Back to Josephine and Wells. Wells never knew what hit him when
it came to his remaining fan and it soon became clear to him that as
annoying as she had been , he really needed her now. But he blown her
off and it wasn't going to be that easy. She was loyal to a fault but
she had dreams of her own. He desperately needs someone who is on his
side. He soon discovers that he needs more than he ever thought he would
need from Josephine. I love the fact that he often gave her the
nickname of Belle It was so sweet, endearing and at times in the
beginning a bit outrageous. Fun and engaging ! It was a pleasant
surprise to have the insights of the challenges of Diabetes type 1. I
didn't know but found it inspiring in this golf romance. Because it was a
romance and a feel good overcomer story ! The growth that they both
went through was charming. By the way I loved the eBook cover and the
reason for that choice became clear in the story and made me giggle!
I read this book thru the Hoopla Library app and it was delightful !
