BOOK REVIEW- Alexander: A Seventh Son Novel (McClains Book 1) BY Kirsten Osbourne

Alexander Lain is the seventh son of a seventh son, and as such he has luck on his side in everything he does. When he finds a peasant child burning with fever, her parents burning in a hovel nearby, he takes the child, hoping to find someone who can heal her. He’s pointed toward the castle and Lady Lina, and he takes the child there, finding it convenient that his errand was taking him to the same place. What he sees in his first hour in the castle astounds him, but it doesn’t keep him from an attraction for the young lady there.  This book was a charming, quickly read book with some unusual plot lines. Not only were the main characters unusual and interesting but also each of their own families had some unusual "quirks" or lineage if you want to explain it that way.  There were certain things that were passed down through their family and that could continue should Alexander and Linda marry.  Lina's mother had quite the useful and helpful gift of healing.  Lina wasn't so sure how her own gift was either useful or helpful.  It was sweet for Alexander to point on some things about that she hadn't thought about before. 

As a new couple there is plenty that the two of them have to get adjusted to.  I liked how the story ended with a good Epilogue. 
I also thought that the eBook cover was very attractive and also showed so of the sweetness of the book!
