Also, told with humbling honesty is their need to lean on the faith of others as well; during Colton’s life-threatening sickness and surgery. Colton’s story is told by his father, as they re-tell the trip to Heaven that no one knew Colton took; until the information began to unfold in bits and pieces; in unexpected ways and times.

I am sure that some of the experts will rage, and debate whether this story is really true or not and will miss the point. This family’s story is a great reminder that is time to return to that child-like faith that the Bible says that we need to have. As adults , we can be so educated that we lose that very simple, sweet faith; that is so pleasing to God.   Colton’s direct, honest, child-like responses are so like what you would expect of a child of his age. They cause the reader to think back to the “First Love” that they had when they first believed. And to check, “where am I in my relationship with God?” Many scriptural references were included in the book as Heaven was revealed as seen through Colton’s eyes.
