This was a really good and often tense story.   Who Brax was is something that is established early on, as was what he had come from.  It was also easily shown the worthiness of his character.

Tessa was a mystery and filled with terrifying secrets.  But that woman had been through so much and continued to be hassled from several sources.

It was easy to see how strong the bond was with Brax and his "real" brothers through adoption were.  It was so enjoyable to see how much they had each other's backs.  And Brax was in serious need of that right now and going forward.

The dangerous actions were unpredictable and kept the tension throughout.  Right up to the end and finishing with a good H.E.A.
