MY REVIEW- 5 DELICIOUS STARS :

 OK. SO, it was a short read. But boy, I was really enjoying the plotting of the wronged wife getting her revenge. I smiled at her cleverness, her planning although I thought I probably shouldn't have enjoyed it quite so much ! Lol.
And the stunning twist at the end. Delicious. I should have seen it coming but I was so into the book, that I didn't. I loved it anyway !!!

THIS WAS AN OUTSTANDING STORY. THE PEOPLE BOTH GOOD AND EVIL WERE SO BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN. IT TRULY  WAS A GOOD VS EVIL STORY THAT WAS BOTH SAD AND JOYOUS AT TIMES. I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED WHEN I REALIZED HOW OFTEN THE STORY POINTED OUT OR RE-ENACTED BIBLE SCENES OF BOTH LOVE AND BETRAYAL !!! 

I'M DEFINITELY GOING TO READ MORE BY THIS AUTHOR, AND ESPECIALLY BOOKS IN THIS SERIES !!

This story was OUTSTANDING and I would read it again ! It's now in my Keeper Pile. 

I loved Peter, the sheriff and his dog,  Zack. I can see where it would be easy to start at this book. Because I've never read anything by this author and I loved this book with all the people, many who were hiding in plain sight.  I'm hoping Peter finds true love in future books because he sure deserves it.  Holly, his ex he needs to keep putting distance between them.  Peter does have a lot of loyal expert and some new to the on his team but they all are determined to get the job done. It all makes for some great twists, turns, surprises. And the ending oh dear !

 This was a great story, with an engaging backstory of how wounded the Duke, had been by Lady Margaret's lies and those that supported her lies. He was a gentleman with  a tender heart. He had a few friends who supported him but it was really only about 3. So he ran and hide from society for 3 years.

Lady Lillian and her sister Lady Emily were sweet but also had a backbone of steel when needed. And they will need it when they encounter the fierce, I’m going to get him back, manipulative woman.

Great romances for both sisters and I liked how it all ended.

MY REVIEW- 5 STARS

 

I loved this story. It had a really surprising start to the book.It had plenty of tension, and twists and turns and their was several romances in the story. I've never read anything by James Patterson before and this was a hit for me. It had plenty of tension which focused on Michael Bennett first of course. He was great, a smart, intuitive, compassionate, loving family man who had 10 adoptive children and was waiting on the birth of their 11th child. His second wife Mary Catherine was a tough, smart, compassionate woman at heart, who made a big difference in both Mike's family, and his children who she loved and treated as her own. It was so easy to see and the fact that the children were exceptional in manners and in natural talents. I liked how in the story, it said that Mike and Mary Catharine were still technically newlyweds although they had been together the better part of a decade. The new thing in their life was waiting for the birth of their child after going through tough sessions of IVF. But they were excited about having that baby. They were still madly in love with each other.
Rob Trilling another likable main character. Although Rob Trilling didn't look like or seem to be a shy man, he really was. And he seemed odd to others because of his profession as a cop. In some ways he was odd, as a cop liking going to retired cops, funerals. He was shy so he found it hard opening up to Mike, a fellow cop. And women were a challenge for shy Rob, he liked them but didn't understand them.
Walter Jackson was another interesting character, he was a genius when it came to working on computers but he didn't go out of his way for many people. But Mike he liked and often went out of his way to help him. Walter saw Mike as good people and Michael had helped him many times in the past.
Detective Sergeant Dennis Wu from IAB was a HUGE thorn in Mike's butt and was also causing similar problems for Rob.
Kevin Doyle turned out to be a Huge surprise. I found myself liking him and often pulling for him. He wasn't always a good person, but he also did many good things for some other people.
The ending? Surprise after surprise. With shockingly good outcomes for all !!!

Great short story that was filled with romance, great characters. Helena was a strong woman when it came to coming up against someone who didn't really know his own mind. She was bold without being harsh. Mr. Cooper as she often wasn't quite so lucky as you would say.

Silas, realizes he's been a Big fool. and hopes it's not too late.

Meet "Knows her Own Mind" meets "Mr. Clueless" and watch the fireworks happen in this story.

 I loved this story, it was continual surprises with friends, frenemies and straight up enemies and haters.   The characters are interesting. But Ivy just keeps on plowing through them to find out the truth through every twist and turn. She vows that she will find the murder !

It’s an easy read. The setting is beautifully described.   and I didn’t come anywhere near guessing the bad guy!"

Now I want to read more of these books in this Series !

MY REVIEW:  I gave it 5 Stars

 

Great main characters, especially Sloan, and Carter And I Loved the tension between them.Also great tension between Asha (the bad guy) and Dalton the only slightly bad guy and the interactions between all 4. The attraction between Sloan and Carter was great !The quirky humor and poetry was really fun too !That phrase about the invisible rope tugging between them? Wow .Even in the early days of danger they felt that strong tug.

It was a great story with all kinds of twists. 

On the downside there was a fair amount of swearing and some violence. So anyone with any kind of triggers when it comes to violence should probably know that before they buy the book. But the writing was excellent, the lopsided romance was definitely interesting. And the end of the book, you won't see coming !!!

My Review:t I gave this story 5 Stars because I loved the story. 

Both Aria and her husband were intriguing and the story was so good, with all the angst and fear of remembering and NOT remembering !

On a happier note of what she experienced. When Aria got her first sight of the music room !!! A powerful  moment that I connected to because I also am a singer !

The pain was so well illustrating especially when "the iron curtain holding her memories finally broke." I almost cried, it felt so real !!! 

Like I said, it deserves a 5 Star rating !!!

MY REVIEW OF THIS BOOK:  4 STARS

This was a quirk but funny short story. That had me shaking my head wondering if I was going to be able to keep reading it. But then the humor kicked in, in the story. I kept reading and found that I liked it !!
I found the author humorous too in the way he interjected himself at the end !!
I would read another of his stories, just to check them out !!

 What a great story of faith, overcoming dangerous challenges and unexpected love !!!

Rachel and Boone shouldn't have fit but they did !!! At first glance, people shouldn't have liked them.  And at first people weren't sure about Rachel.  Was she a snooty rich woman trying to change their little town that is still recovering? Or does she have their best interests at heart ?  And Boone.  He's this BIG, scary bounty hunter that seems to loom menacingly over them, although times that really isn't his intention either.  But he's also good at his job, and those on the wrong side of his mission should be afraid !!!

 I loved both of them and all of the motley crew that gets added.  They had great times of peace and growth.  But Rachel and Boone soon bond together to fight their adversary.  This a story of faith in ways that present a gentle way of daily living without shoving anything down your throat.  I'm giving it 5 STARS !

My review Title is :  Rachel and Boone shouldn't have fit but they did !!!

MY REVIEW-   

I fell in love with Natalia and although Jake Wilder took a little longer. It wasn't long because he was so kind, and a gentleman when he was with  Natalia. And even before he met her and had only conversed with her in labored letters.  He knew almost no  Russian and Natalia just knew a little.  Over time, their romance grew.

I was pulling for them quickly and got involved in their story strongly and also in the fate of Natalia's little boy Alexandr and her mother.  I wanted all of them to win and be together so badly. But of course, for every high there was a devastating, believable low. This story was intense, drawing more people into the fight for Jake to get his family back, safe and sound.  Along the way many injustices are righted and the right of the evil people and their systems rounded up or destroyed.  With more to come.  

Many people counseled Jake to give up because it was yoo dangerous.  But he refused, this the is family he always wanted. No matter what risk he had to take. Jake already saw Alexandr as his son. !

There's a happy ending, but you'll never guess how they get there.  A thriller to the happy end.

 I want more by this author.  I'm now following him on Amazon. My title for this book is :
