BOOK REVIEW- The Source of Magic
Imagine you are going along, just living your life and your mother, who you love dearly is sudddenly deathly ill. It's a strange illness, as is the dreams that Jilian is suddenly having. A strange man is calling out to her and says he's coming for her soon. He does come, in a strange way and grabs her and takes her from Scotland to a even stranger place, a fantasy place where magic is the norm. What is going on? How can she make her way home? Will she be able to help her mother? Who is this unusual man? And what does he want with her?
Oh yes, this story starts out with a Bang! Throws you right into the story, right away! Dramatic start. I really liked this story even though it threw me a bit off balance at first, Some of the odd words, names and explanation of some of the roles of the people took a little time to catch up with. But not enough to stop reading, it was different, not impossible to follow. Very good descriptions of the different things in the fantasy world without being too heavy with it. Well written, spunky romance, good mystery, good "evil" villian. Also a few twists and turns tossed in as well, yummy. Everything I like.
I also have to mention and give credit to the author for a choosing a really attractive cover on the ebook as well.
