Two totally different young people meet at a parisian resturant, La Boheme. One is a shy heiress named Lena, who just happens to be living and studying in Paris. And the other is also a student named Rob who is a waiter at that same Bistro. Things are brewing, and both are becoming more attracted by the minute. Too bad Rob has a secret that could ruin everything.
This story starts out slow, with us getting to know both people as the story unfolds. Its a young people's love story with all the foolish mistakes that they often make at that age. As I was reading, I began to think, " Hmm, pretty predictable story". Then all of a sudden there was a curve in the story, one I WASN'T expecting. That happened several different times.
For me, I don't usually enjoy poetry all that much and in this book it felt like a lot of information went into the career path that Lena was on. That included the poet that inspired her, (Marina Tsvetaeva) and poems written by her. Later I could see how Marina made an impact on Lena and her story.
“I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review”.
