My 5 Star Review TITLED: Their attraction could get them killed
Lev Morozov might be the pakhan's son but he's the second son. The one the father is not so proud of but plenty ready to send to do the dirty work. When he gets shot up, he DEMANDS that his bodyguard/friend, Ruslan take him to Moscow General that is further away. He has his reasons ! It because of the very skilled trauma surgeon that he has been obsessing over for 2 years !
Dr. Polina Kozlov treats whoever comes into her E.R. but does the unthinkable and dangerous thing of hiding who he really is. Yep, that really could get them ALL killed even Ruslan for covering for Lev ! I really liked that they were that tight !
Lev and Polina just can't stay away from each other although it keeps getting harder to lie to their families. It begins as a sweet, secretive romance because Lev refuses to be like his father. He WON'T just take what isn't offered. I loved both of them and the intensity of this story. I will be reading more by this author ! I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
