Book 1 of 5: Young Irish Rebels
He’s next in line to RULE the Irish Mafia. She’s off limits, an outsider. But, when trouble lands her at his feet, he takes the opportunity to have what he truly wants—her.
Jack
I’m the son of Liam O’Reagan, next in line to wear the crown.
And when I prove myself worthy, I will RULE over the Irish Mafia.
I don’t have time for distractions—much less time for a woman who has always been the bane of my existence.
When Maeve comes back into my life, I fight like hell to resist the pull she has on me.
An attraction that has only grown stronger with time.
But, when trouble lands her at my feet, I take the opportunity to have what I truly want.
I offer her a deal.
I’ll help her, but the cost will be one night in my bed.
One night of submission.
One night to have her completely at my mercy.
If only I had known my battle with Maeve would start a war.
Maeve
Jack is the only one who can help me.
Too bad, he hates me.
But I have no choice but to go to him.
It turns out, hate is a powerful motivator, and I just handed him a way to punish me.
He offers me his help—for a price.
Everything in his world has a price.
One night in his bed.
He’s everything a woman would want, so this should be easy.
Only, I’m a virgin, and he terrifies me.
I should run, but I won’t.
I can’t.
I just pray this one night doesn’t destroy us both.
“Mafia Prince” is the first book in the Young Irish Rebel Series. It is a Dark Mafia Enemies to Lovers Romance, complete with HEA and no cliffhangers.
MY REVIEW NOTES TITLED: 5 STARS for An Amazing Dark Story
I liked Jack O'Regan , although at first I wasn't sure that I was going to. Maeve
Reilly was hard NOT to like. And what a tragic life she has led. Her brother Declan is in trouble because he owes money to some very dangerous people !
There are several other dangerous people in this story. Cian is Jack's Uncle Shane's son. Cian is a VERY TALL man who Jack has never liked and found it hard to hide. Especially since he had a thing for Maeve. I felt that Cian was not a man to be trusted. Now, Shay is a puzzling man to Jack but someone that he felt needed watching. Me too. He's Liam's nephew. Shay is charming but sly and clever too ! He wants to share control of the North and South Ireland. There's talk about making it an International thing with a panel of 4 that includes "that Murphy lad."
Yes, there are some Dark. Really Dark elements to this story but it was also well written even with the violence. Great push and pull attraction between the two of the MC's. And a steamy romance.
It looks like Shay also has a story to tell. One about him and Emma. An arranged marriage perhaps? In the book, "The Mafia King." I think I'll follow up on that one!
