----------------My 5 Star Review TITLED: She sure knew how to deal with them !
Dr. Serafina Virelli is a Trauma Surgeon who works at Bellevue Hospital and she doesn't bend for anyone ! Luca Moretti dares to step in front of her pulling her into a life that she worked hard to escape. He's so many steps ahead of her but doesn't want to hurt her. Now his Uncle Enzo doesn't mind running over whoever he wants to as he plans to use her for his benefit. Niether Luca or Serafina plan to ruin his plans as they finally start working together. Even her father, is another user, she knows SOME of what he's done but it's darker than she knows. He keeps telling her when he can how evil Luca is and demands that she return home, With Him. Caruso is Luca's man who helps them so much along with another man in their group that begins to unravel the many fingers that have been doing underhanded things and now want to control SERAFINA ! She's the key.
I loved the humor between the main characters, the intensity, the pursuits and how Serafina stood toe to toe against Enzo and her father and she didn't blink. I loved how the romance between Luca and Serafina developed. And Luca wants to make some changes for her. Great ending!
