My 5 STAR Review TITLED: So many controlling people in her life
Gianna is a shy woman, totally controlled and under the thumb of her nasty Aunt Francesca ! Sure, the aunt raised her like she was her own daughter after their parents died but still...So controlling that Gianna threw up every day. That's the only control that she's had over her own life ! She's been with the aunt since she was 8 years old ! She doesn't really want to marry Nico Esposito, but her aunt pressures her into saying okay. So in front of the aunt and Nico and her brother Enzo she agrees even though she doesn't want him. Enzo has NO idea how controlling Francesca has been and the aunt thinks she's doing what's best for her niece and keep pushing !! Nope. And she doesn't want to hear anything else from Gianna. Enzo is a dangerous man who loves his sister, and wants her safe and protected but he has no clue !
Marco Amato also also wants Gianna, for the alliance but also because he desires her. He's the one who hired Will Taylor, the hit-man to kidnap her. She got just about everyone pulling on her. But this kidnapping helps her to start to find her voice The one that her aunt had silenced over the years !
Will has standards. He has a moral code installed by his mother long before she died. He only kills bad people. No women or children.
I loved the suspense, the kidnappings back and forth, the chases and Gianna finally putting her foot down ! The romance between Gianna and Will is so sweet and Will finally finds true love. So does Gianna, a man who doesn't want to control her. l loved that !!!
