This is a story about Cinderalla's family, mainly her sister Emeralda. Just the information on the book alone, really caught my attention and I really wanted to read it. I was a little bit afraid that after really wanting to read it that I would be disappointed when I did. That so did NOT happen, I didn't want to put the book down until I finished it. Ismeralda was a hoot to read about and her "condition" caused such interesting situations. As you read you find that there is unexpected depths of spunk to "Essie". I haven't read any of the other books in this series, but the story drew me right in and wasn't hard to follow.
I really liked the personalities of Esmeralda and Alessandro (who suffers a moment or two of foot in mouth and gets caught in it.) But the other people were just as likeable and entertaining as these two. Well, I wasn't liking their step-mother and Lady Kendra but I think that was the idea. I don't want to give away too much so I'll stop right here.
Mystery, Magic, Plots and Love; what's not to like?
By the way "I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review" which I have now done.
