P-NOT REJECTED BY GOD
Last Day Chrisitians
God has not rejected you!
Rejection is a faith stealer. It is really hard, if not impossible, to have faith in God if deep down inside, we believe that God may not really like us. Or maybe we believe that God is a “sit back” kind of God, not really caring or getting involved in our daily lives.
How could the Almighty God, who spread out the stars in the universe----how could He really care about the likes of you or me?
Even after committing our lives to God, there are many of us who don't believe God really loves us or cares about the things that we are feeling or dealing with in our daily lives.
Faith is really tough when you don't believe that God cares about you. The scriptures say that when we come to Him in prayer, we must come in faith, believing that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
So there seems to be a double edged sword. What's the point in praying at all if we can't believe that He hears us?
Satan works very hard, day and night, to keep us from praying and standing in faith. Persuading us to believe that we have been rejected by God is one of his number one tactics.
Remember, if it is coming from Satan, then it is an absolute lie. But how can we know that these thoughts of rejection are from Satan?
We know the truth ONLY by renewing our minds in God's Word. God's Word is His love letter to us. He wrote it to us long before we were born. He spent thousands of years assimilating this love letter so that it would be here for us in this day and time of our lives.
I want to take you to a scripture that God highlighted to me.
Isaiah, chapter 54. I would like you to read all of the chapter. It is ALL relevant to this discussion, but I especially want to show you verses 9 and 10.
“To me, this is like the days of Noah, when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth. So now I have sworn not to be angry with you, never to rebuke you again. Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.”
You see, God is saying that He will never again be angry with you, and His unfailing love for you will not be shaken, nor His covenant of peace be removed between you.
How do we know He is talking to you and me in this instance? We will get there in a minute.
Let's continue on in the scripture.
“All your sons will be taught by the Lord, and great will be your children's peace.”
There's one to stand on and declare!
It gets even better!!
“Terror will be far removed; it will not come near you. If anyone does attack you, it will not be My doing; whoever attacks you will surrender to you.”
“No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.”
All of that, and more----you and I should be claiming over our households and over our own lives.
How can you know that this Word is a Word for you and for me? After all, it was written in Isaiah. That's Old Testament. And maybe it was only meant for the Israelites.
Here's how I know that these promises are to me. It's in the last verse of the chapter.
“This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from Me,” declares the Lord.''
You see, everything that is in the whole chapter, ---everything that precedes this last verse, is sealed by the last verse!
God is saying that if you are His servant, then this is what you can expect from Him. This is your inheritance, your promise, from Him.
It is your inheritance from Him that He will never be angry with you again. (So now you can have faith, and come BOLDLY into His presence!)
Not only that but His love will never depart from you. All of your sons will be taught by HIM, and great will be their peace. If anyone does rise up and accuse you, you will refute them. That's your inheritance. You will not be ashamed.
If you have committed your life to Him, then you are His servant, and the promises spoken in Isaiah 54 are yours to receive.
If you haven't, you can do it now. Just talk to God from your heart, and tell Him that you want to become His. You don't have to use religious words. Just speak from your heart. He will take it from there. It is the best and most important decision you can ever make.
Godspeed!
