Book 1 of 8: The Wright Heroes of Maine
Book 1 of 8: The Wright Heroes of Maine
From a USA Today bestselling author...
Sam never understood why Eliza left him five years ago, ghosting him without explanation. He’s avoided romance ever since, focusing on building his business. Money might not keep him warm at night, but it can sure buy a lot of blankets.
Then Eliza shows up on his doorstep and throws herself into his arms. She can’t explain her bruises or the head injury that’s left her with no memories of the past five years, including their breakup. No matter how good it feels to hold her, though, there’s no way he’s getting sucked into romance again.
He’ll deliver Eliza to her mother, and that will be that. But instead of finding her mom, they’re met by two attackers and barely escape alive. Despite the danger to his life and his heart, he can’t leave Eliza to fend for herself.
Together, they embark on a journey to reconstruct her past while evading the men chasing her. As Sam and Eliza close in on the truth, their romance reignites, but her secret threatens to destroy them both.
Prepare to be enthralled by this gripping story of amnesia, a second chance at love, and a secret baby. Running to You is an edge-of-your-seat Christian romantic suspense set in Maine that will keep you reading all night long.
MY REVIEW- 10+ STARS
I can see why this author is a best selling author.. Because wow, what an outrageously great story this was ! The people, the inner struggles, the angst was so well done. So was the mysteries of "What is going on ?" and Why are these things happening to us ? There's anger, danger and unforgiveness. and finally Love. The mysteries start to get solved, the Love of God shows up and then how the Love shows up in the life of several others. Some had already know about God and his love and some needed the reminder. One of the best Christian novels that I've ever read. I really loved this story and it won't be my last one by her. On a side note, God is woven so beautifully in this story that I don't believe that non-Christians would want to miss this one !! I know I'm glad that I didn't and I'm looking forward to reading the next one in this series !!!

From a New York Times bestselling author,
a second-chance rom-com about a debut author who unexpectedly goes viral
when readers discover her hero was inspired by a beloved pro hockey
player—and her high school crush.
Debut author Gemma
Stanton knows romance readers love a bad boy—and she has the perfect
prototype for her novel: Mason Moretti. High school hockey
god-turned-pro player, Mason was Gemma's first crush, but she couldn't
forget the sting of his very public rejection. So, she casts him as a
hot-headed Highlander in her spicy new historical romance. She never
expected readers would find out on live TV when a morning show host
invites Mason for a surprise on-air reunion...
As an aging
hockey player with a rep for being ruthless on the ice—and roguish off
of it—Mason has an image problem. So, when his meet-cute with Gemma goes
viral, Mason proposes they build on the momentum with a few fake dates
to boost her book sales...and his sagging profile. But when the
fictional flirting gets a little too real, Mason realizes Gemma actually
makes him want to become a better man—someone worthy of her trust and
her love.
Will Gemma give him a second chance? Mason knows it's
a long shot, but taking shots is sorta his thing, and besides, who
loves a redemption arc more than a romance author?

A dollhouse shouldn’t hold secrets. But in Ashford Peaks, one may hold a motive for murder.
When baker Sam Baker caters the town’s annual miniature expo, she expects frosted cookies—not a replica of a house tied to a cold missing person case. The show’s star exhibitor is found dead beside her display, and while the police suggest natural causes, someone has tampered with the scene. A doll resembling the victim appears in the house—unnaturally posed at the base of the stairs.
Then a second doll appears, facedown on the cobblestone path with red paint streaked across its back.
This one looks exactly like Sam.
With her loyal corgi Diggie, sharp-witted friend Hazel, and gossipy sidekick Lily, Sam digs into a mystery layered in secrets and scale. Carla, a bitter vendor, had her work stolen before. Holden, a smug blogger, may be rewriting more than just history.
As the dollhouse changes overnight, Sam must solve the mystery before she becomes its next replica.
Because in this game, the smallest details cut the deepest.
MY REVIEW- a good story. 4 stars
I'm a first time reader of this story and I liked it. The miniature house information was well written as was the history behind the houses and the history of the woman that was killed. Way more to that part of the story than expected. Sam and Diggy were great and so was Hazel and Lily. There are a couple of smarmy men that Sam didn't trust and who I also didn't trust either. Great surprise at the end !
Christian Story
When this Ex-Seal left, he took my heart. Now, he wants to return it.
Being a Bakery Chef in a small town has always had its challenges,
But not as challenging as when the new Sheriff walked into my life, with his daughter.
He’s my high school sweetheart that vanished without a trace.
Now Jackson’s back, igniting a storm of emotions.
I slapped him, reacting to the pain of his desertion.
But then he opens up about his experience in the military, the nightmares and the demons he faces.
As much as I want to hate him, I can’t help but to sympathize with him.
Plus his presence stirs feelings I thought was long buried.
The love letters he wrote and kept hidden from me, reveals his most inner thoughts.
My heart’s still scarred, but this revelation makes me want to forgive him.
History may repeat itself, leaving us with shattered dreams or a second chance at what we once had.
My review- I liked it 4 Stars Title: A short, clean, deep story with heart
Mia had so much hurt caused by Jackson. It took her YEARS and therapy to try to overcome what he had done when he left town without warning her what was on his mind.
Jackson had MUCH to regret and grieve and Mia was one of those things that still haunted him. One HUGE surprise puts an even bigger distance between them. But do they work things out ?
Yes, a happy ever after ending. By the way, I liked the cover on this eBook. With a quick sneak peek into "CEO Next door." That one sounds interesting too !!

MY REVIEW- Title:I LIKED IT, MOSTLY . I gave it 4 STARS
The great picture on the eBook cover caught my eye first. Good Choice, I love it ! And so was the choice of Boris and Adeline. Boris is truly feared and for scary reasons. Although there is violence it's mainly off screen. .She's beautiful and her daddy hated her but her brothers loved her. Her brother Ivan didn't like his baby sister being forced into marriage with Boris but he couldn't stop it either. Her brother, Andrei you don't see much of.
The book starts out really dramatically and ends the same way. All well written with a romance and some sex scenes of the two people who crave each other and don't want to.
I did like the way that it ended !
