This was a quick, enjoyable story with good main characters.  Brenna being called into do her job as a manger of PR, was a good plot idea.  Her co-partner in the business Willow is one fiery, smart best friend as well.  They might be different in styles and personalities but they balanced each other in business.  And they were there as much as possible for each other in the personal sides of their lives too.

Ronan was the fun, rogue prince.  But that doesn't mean he is without pain or disappointments.  He also has depths to him that very feel people have seen.  Brenna is one that has seen some of them before he disappeared out of her life.  That one brilliant, free summer nine years ago.

I did enjoy the challenges that the people in the story faced.  It wasn't a really deep book but that didn't take away from the charm of it.  

On a side note, I thought the eBook cover was really attractive too.

A good story but lets face it, there is going to be some rough language and LOTS of sex and sexual language.  Underneath it all, there really are some good stories going on.  Great main characters with unusual lives.  Great secondary people both in Kat and Dane's lives.

I was surprised to find that I really did end up liking this book.  I wasn't so sure in the beginning that it would turn out that way.  First of all, it wasn't necessarily a book I would normally pick to read and at times it seemed so slow.  But as time went on,  the personalities and struggles of the main characters pulled me in.  It didn't take long for me to care about them both.  At first I thought Alexandra was a bit of a snob when it came to interacting with Sy.  But finally, her true personality began to shine through and I liked her more.  Sy was so over his head when it came to doing business with men of the Southern lifestyles.  He was an honest man, a direct one but someone not knowing all the rules, regulations and hoops he would have to jump through just to do business.   He was the outsider and he felt it.  

I liked that their romance was more a slowly developing friendship that went deeper.  It didn't start out that way because Alexandra had some reasons to not want any part of him or railroads.  But she begins to see him as he really is.  He doesn't match up with her preconceived ideas. 
Another person that I couldn't help really loving was Alexandra's room mate, Ella.  She added so much to the story.
This book also is not afraid to mention God in it and people's reliance upon His help as situations keep coming up.
While this story might not be something everyone enjoys, to me it was a worthwhile read.  
I want to mention that some of this story does have a basis in fact and I appreciate the author including that information at the end of the book.  There are also other resources mentioned in her Author's Note.  One of those is that you can also go to her website and get more information there as well.

A good story with the first half really setting up the resistance to finding out the truth. Nikki is going to have her hands full with this one.  The only one who craves knowing the truth is Travers McGraw, the twins father.   Everyone else has given up or has something to hide.  But Nikki is someone who doesn't give up and she has some personal reasons to find out the whole truth.  
Cull is very clear in his resistance to Nikki coming in and digging things up again! Haven't they suffered enough?  He also didn't want to give his father false hopes. 

I can honestly say that I hated the second Mrs. McGraw, she was so mean.  Patricia was the former nanny and she was nasty piece of work.  I kept hoping she was the villain of the piece. You'll have to read the book to find out just who the villain/villains are.  I kept thinking why doesn't Travis kick her butt out of the house.  It sure would have brought a lot more peace to that household and to him.  
The romance between Nikki and Cull is kind of low level but the attraction is there.  

The story has plenty of surprises and twists and turns as Nikki digs and gets some truths.  Some surprising ones.  Most of the questions are answered but there are several that will continue on into another book is my guess.
