Juicy Fruit Afghan Crochet Pattern

Juicy Fruit Afghan Crochet Pattern

Juicy Fruit Afghan Crochet Pattern

Great for those cooler summer nights, this Juicy Fruits Afghan is a great way to bring bright colors (and a little warmth) into your home.  Made with brightly colored yarn, this crocheted afghan pattern also makes a great gift for teens and new apartment owners. The name really says it all - the bright colors make this a true delight. In fact, it can be displayed like real piece of art. Free afghan crochet patterns may not scream summer, but this project truly breaks the mold.

Materials:
  • 4 skeins RED HEART® With Love®: yarn in Aran (A)
  • 1 skein RED HEART® With Love®: yarn in Hot Pink (B)
  • 1 skein RED HEART® With Love®: yarn in Mango (C)
  • 1 skein RED HEART® With Love®: yarn in Lettuce (D)
  • 5mm [H-8 US] Susan Bates® Crochet Hook
  • Yarn needle

Gauge: 2 shells = 4” (10cm) in pattern; 7 rows = 4” (10 cm).
CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

Special Stitches:
  • Beginning Cross-stitch (beg cross-st) = Dc in space after the sc and before the next 5-dc group one row below, ch 1, dc in space before the same sc and previous 5-dc group.
  • Cross-stitch (cross-st) = Dc in next ch-space after next sc two rows below, ch 1, dc in chspace before same sc.
Notes:
  • When instructed to work into a stitch or space “2 rows below”, work into the row numbered 2 less than the current row. For example, if you are working Row 5, a stitch “2 rows below” is in Row 5 – 2 = Row 3.
  • To change color, work last stitch of old color to last yarn over. Yarn over with new color and draw through all loops on hook to complete stitch. Proceed with new color.

Prophetic Word: God Is Moving Quickly, Strangely And Strongly | Doug Addison

Prophetic Word: God Is Moving Quickly, Strangely And Strongly | Doug Addison

Happy cheerful young woman jumping in the air in the middle of golden meadow with high grass. Conceptual of enjoying life happiness and life spirit. ** Note: Soft Focus at 100%, best at smaller sizes

This is a turning point and things are going to start happening at a fast pace. Watch as a new door will appear for you after June 13th. This is the end of the Jewish Feast of Weeks, also known as First Fruits, Leviticus 23:15. It occurs 7 weeks after Passover.
Seven is the number of completion—so 7 weeks ago God released something powerfully new from Heaven and it is now coming into your life.
If you did not see my Prophetic Word yet from last month, Why It’s Safe For You to Hope Again!, please go read that.
Passover this year was so strategic. I have been having divine encounters nonstop since then.
Now, 7 weeks after Passover is June 13, and God is going to jumpstart these new things in your life. God spoke to me Isaiah 60 … you can pull prophetic promises out of Isaiah 60 and watch for them to come about quickly. I am seeing this happen in my life already. I grabbed ahold of five verses from Isaiah 60 and I have been praying them in. Suddenly things are shifting!
God Is Moving Quickly
“The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the Lord; in its time I will do this swiftly.” Isaiah 60:22 NIV
God is raising up the smallest to become mighty. For those who have walked through a time of pruning and purging this year, you will be raised up into new levels of authority. And He is doing it swiftly, starting in June.
“’The days are coming,’ declares the Lord, ‘when the reaper will be overtaken by the plowman and the planter by the one treading grapes. New wine will drip from the mountains and flow from all the hills,’” Amos 9:13 NIV
Things are going to shift in order to bring about the new wine from God. The new harvest that is coming is going to look so different than previous times. Many will be tempted to reject or judge it. In many ways, it might even appear as evil.
But God is doing these new things for the sake of the harvest. For the sake of souls, God is looking for people who are willing to “leave the ninety-nine to go after the one” like Jesus did in Luke 15:4.
God Is Moving Strangely
Expect to see your answer come, but be open to it looking different than you might have originally envisioned or requested it. God is going to take things that have been against you and turn them into a blessing in the end. But, you will need to battle for it.
Genesis 50:20 tells us that God will turn things that were intended for evil into good. This is happening starting in June, and for the next few months through September.
It is important to get “the eyes to see” and trust the Lord to work all these things out. They will indeed work out if you do not give up.
God Is Moving Strongly
I have been experiencing radical moments of God’s power. I just got healed of a nearly 4-year affliction that had nearly taken me out. I have had terrible reactions to my environment that would cause me to have panic, anxiety and even hysterical episodes. After being carried off a cruise ship where I was supposed to minister, having to leave meetings, and being literally, tormented—I finally got to a place last January where I was no longer able to travel.
I have been in isolation for the past 5 months, not able to be around people because of cross-contamination. God has been using me strongly on the Internet, so most people may not have realized that I was suffering this badly. I heard the Lord tell me to get to the Fresh Fire USA and Canada Glory Awakening meeting with Todd Bentley last weekend in Hamilton, Ontario Canada.
I got healed my first night there (May 27) and my energy returned; anxiety and fatigue left, and after 4 nights of continual prayer, I got totally set free! I got off all medications and am starting to recover my life again. I highly recommend going there if you can, or at least catch the live stream of the meetings here. (Or you can watch the video archive here.)
The power of God there is greater than what I have seen since the 2008 Lakeland Outpourings. This is the 8th year since Lakeland. Todd Bentley is restored, and God is using him to ignite a fire that is going to take the world. You can read the word God gave me about Hamilton here.
I came home to California this week healed and seeing God move in my life quickly, strangely and strongly!
This is a time to crossover to all that God has promised you. A key to this will be letting go of perceived ideas and judgments.
Blessings,

When Walls Don’t Seem to Move. By Allison Bown

Our guest writer today, Allison Bown, is the Director of The Warrior Class—a group of amazing people who pray for me personally and for all the events that we put on as Brilliant Perspectives.
She is a great thinker, dear friend and very cool spiritual companion. I know you will love her perspectives as much as we do.guy on bridge
Everyone has encountered times where challenges remain challenging; where expectations don’t unfold as expected and the prayers we pray don’t seem to have3 an impact. What is going on during those times and how can they possibly be good?
A few years ago, I was in such a season and found myself in the book of Joshua… again.
Josh is an old friend and Jericho is one of my favorite stories. Most of us know it.  Israel has finally crossed over into the Promised Land and God has given the new commander a rather ridiculous battle plan: march around this massive walled city once a day for six days while the priest and the ark of the covenant lead the way.  On day seven, do it seven times.  The horns will blow. The men will shout and the walls will fall.
And did I forget to mention? No talking.  Not until it’s time to shout.
Seriously? This is a “plan”? It would be interesting to have seen the thought bubbles over the men’s heads when Joshua made the announcement.

As I contemplated this familiar story, I found myself asking a new question: Why was it so important that they didn’t talk?

But in classic Holy Spirit style, He didn’t answer that question directly.  Instead, He pointed out what seemed to be an irrelevant detail: that Jericho’s walls didn’t crumble little by little each day.  There were no signs of progress after each lap. On Day Seven, nothing (it seemed) had changed.  Not a single stone or gate had shifted… not even a little.
Hmmm…. Wait a minute. What if all those initial trips around Jericho weren’t about the walls at all?
(These are the odd questions I ask of God at 2:00 a.m.)
What if the walls that were crumbling were actually inside of the warriors— not outside?6
Think about it— very few of these men remembered God’s majesty in annihilating Egypt.  Sure, God had parted the Jordan river for them a few days before and they had seen bits and pieces of His power in the wilderness – but this was a new landscape.

What if the time had come for each warrior to decide for himself:  Who is God for me in this place?”9

I think it’s possible that with every lap around Jericho, with every opportunity to stare at those massive walls that weren’t changing, each man had to ask that question.  He couldn’t take an opinion poll from his friends or rely on the history of his parents.  In silence, staring at the impossible, he had to determine from his own relationship with “I AM”:
Who is God to me in this Promised Land?
– Allison

God Will Not Let You Stay Stuck. By Graham Cooke

photo-1445968660880-120e2f7b8c33
When we understand how God interacts with us, our lives are transformed. We are able to see what God is doing in us, and what He is doing through us. And we no longer confuse the two. We’re able to spend time in His presence receiving revelation, guidance and love.
But this is not usually an immediate experience. Waiting on God takes patience, because there is a perfect time for everything. “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven,” as Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us.
We have to resist the urge to doubt God when things take longer to happen than we want or expect. “Nothing’s happening,” we whine sometimes. “Am I even in the right place?”

I’ve discovered the more impatient I am, the more God slows things down.

He’s like a watched kettle — He never boils when we’re in a hurry.
So it’s important we remember to live in Christ, not our circumstances. He is our rest and peace. We cannot benefit from trying to apply peace to our life situations. Peace comes from the heart, not the head.
Peace is relational, not circumstantial.
Rejoicing and true thanksgiving produce peace and rest. That’s because giving thanks from the heart will always overpower anything negative. Rejoicing from the mind gives only a temporary relief, but rejoicing from the heart changes our lifestyle.
Thanksgiving is not casual; it’s an experience of the Lord’s joy that liberates us to rejoice. Joy is the abiding atmosphere of Heaven, and so it changes our internal atmosphere permanently.

Joy is who God is; rejoicing is our response to who God is!

We can abide in joy, simply because He does.
Peace and rest become a lifestyle that emanates out of our internal abiding atmosphere. Do not just visit the nature of God; live in Him. Abide in Him, and He will abide in you ( John 15:1-11). Peace and rest are the consequence of abiding, and they are a part of our inheritance— HE is our inheritance.

God wants us to be constantly moving forward in our faith in this truth.

We are called to walk a path of spiritual maturity, so we must grow up in our understanding of waiting on Him. He has made more provision for us than we can possibly imagine, as we read in 1 Corinthians 2:9, “No eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
But to inherit His gifts, we have to live in Him. We must enter the place He has set aside for us in Christ. The goal of all our gatherings is to establish each of us in that relationship with Jesus. We have a personal responsibility to the Holy Spirit to learn how to abide and stay in Christ, and then the rest follows.
