____My 5 star Review TITLED: This woman comes armed with Lists !
I loved Gianna Cortese the woman who fights with a battle plan of lists and research. She owns Caffe Milano and inherited a huge debt. Everyone wants her place and are working against her to get it. She's not only fighting to keep it but to also protect her 17 year old sister, Mia ! And she wasn't as defenseless as everyone seems to think that she is !!!
It made me smile when Damiano D'Angelo swaggers in with HIS smile thinking he already has the wining hand. Ouch for him ! She's already at least 3 steps ahead of him and he doesn't like it ! He's known her for years and could never figure out how she always beat him at chess when they were younger. It still stings but he's always wondered about that. I guess he always though HE was the smartest one in the room. I loved how marriage to Gianna was going to be on Her Terms only !!
I couldn't help it but it didn't take long for me to like Damiano as I watched him get out maneuver by Gianna. And later, their first real negation gets really HOT !
Mia is sadly had to be wiser than her years but Gianna has practically raised her for YEARS. I really liked Mia too!
Damiano's cousin, Luca Caruso is going to be a big thorn for them but it gets really interesting when he tries his hardest to win.
Turns out Gianna and Damiano make for a great team !
