Chapter 4 Page 21
At night, when I lay down, I would tell myself, “Tomorrow morning, I am going to wake up healed.” When I woke up the next morning not healed, I would say, “Today, I am going to reach out and touch Jesus, and He is going to reach out and touch me. TODAY IS MY DAY FOR A MIRACLE.” I knew that any second a miracle was going to take place. I dug my heels in and refused to not get healed. I took the Word of God as fact where it says, “I was healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)
The tumor kept growing, and so did the side effects and challenges of everyday life. It got to the point that I had very little strength due to both being totally exhausted and due to that thing in my stomach draining the life out of me. It became a chore to get around in the house. I knew I had to get some exercise, so I would force myself to walk to build up strength.
