Roxanne Ramsay, is a fun-loving reporter, who has chased stories all over the globe. She's an international traveler who all of a sudden has a lot of the fearlessness and fun zapped out of her by a series of tragic events. She finds herself at a family wedding as part of the bridal party. The last place she wants to be. Almost everyone sees her tears as emotion over her sister getting married.
Dr. Greg Hayes is at his best friends wedding as best man; and he's not totally buying the reason for Roxy's tears. He's drawn to Roxanne but also puzzled by the sadness he sees in her. How in the world will this ever work out? Roxy has a secret or two and Greg has one too- he's afraid of flying.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and devoured it in one sitting. I liked the twists and turns; the surprises kept coming. Of course there were a few times that I guessed where something was going in the story ( I won't say what, because I don't want to ruin it for those who haven't read it yet) but then how it was dealt with wasn't totally predictable. This is the first book that I have read by Mona Risk, but it won't be my last.
